Join us for an inspirational evening with Tasha Jun who will be reading from her debut book, Tell Me the Dream Again: Reflections on Family, and the Sacred Work of Belonging. The reading will be followed by an interview and Q&A with Dominique Weldon.
About the speaker:
Tasha Jun is a biracial Korean American melancholy dreamer who grew up in a multicultural and biracial home. She’s spent her life navigating liminal space and sees the world best through stories and poetry. Tasha lives in the greater Indy area with her husband and three kids. Her debut book, Tell Me the Dream Again: Reflections on Family, and the Sacred Work of Belonging is available now, wherever books are sold.
Dominique Weldon is a Black biracial writer who grew up in Iowa. She is a first-generation college graduate of the University of Iowa and received her MFA in Fiction from Butler University, where she served as the nonfiction editor of Booth. Her work appears or is forthcoming in Lover’s Eye Press, DarkWinter Literary Magazine, and Erato Magazine. She lives in Indiana, where she teaches at the Indiana Writers Center and reads fiction for Split Lip Magazine. She is currently working on her first novel as well as a graphic novel.
